Is majoring in CS even worth it when then job market is so terrible? I think CS will help me follow my future ambitions but after seeing so many other people with so much more experience get rejected gets me so discouraged to even continue majoring in cs.

Cs is very pivotable so if you need to you can move to like game dev or web dev etc maybe even cyber

In my opinion yea. Comp Sci is just broad. More pathways in this major being open. Cloud, IT/Cyber, Software, Gaming/Graphics, Data/Ml, AI it’s still broadening

if u like it it is. studying something that makes you think will always be the best, as critical thinking and creativity is a non-replaceable skill. it’s the easiest to pivot when you push yourself with what u study. can do cyber, IT, consulting, tech sales. cs isn’t necessarily bad (not worse than other majors), but expand what u looking for
