Should I take an Azure Cloud Native Development class? It’s a senior/grad level class but open to all years

I’d recommend it but if ur concerned ab difficulty I’d suggest emailing the professor first to make sure ur not behind on any prior knowledge that may be needed

Definitely what the person above said, I’d also say you probably would get the most out of it if you’ve already taken some OS and/or networking classes. Obviously I can’t speak to what’s actually taught in this class but if it’s for seniors/grad students just be aware they’re probably assuming you have a good working knowledge of those. Those things can also be learned outside the classroom but you’d have to commit some time to it

I wish my college had a similar course because I would’ve taken it. the one cloud course we have doesn’t use Azure, AWS or any big cloud platform

And I don’t say these things to scare you off, in fact I’d really encourage you to get some exposure to cloud in school because that’s how basically everything works in industry. Just know that learning how cloud services work typically involves a lot of networking and OS-related language
