I work for a large software company in cybersecurity. AI will likely be writing most of our code with high level coders just reviewing the code AI generates. I personally think the number of programming jobs will drop significantly in the next five years. If there is another area of IT your interested in I would seriously consider anyone if college age to pivot to that.
