Bro I’m so tired of old people mad about NIL. This arguably has been one of the more interesting seasons of football, and we’re only half way through it. Everyone plays on a somewhat equal footing, and anyone can lose. Shit’s awesome.

The reason it’s more equal is because all the players have been getting worse not better. I’m not arguing that NIL shouldn’t exist I’m just telling you that’s why the playing field seems more level.

I don’t necessarily believe that. I think it’s more Talent gaps being significantly cut down, look at Bama losing to FSU, and Clemson getting beat by Syracuse as some primary examples. Talent gaps were more evident when watching games between 08-21. That’s why Bama was so dominant, they had a whole monopoly on players which kept them constantly the better team, of course Saban was a great coach, but now since those gaps are getting smaller, the games are more competitive. All around a good imo
