Big 10 Championship is arguably the least important championship game this weekend bc they’re both getting in either way (and may both have first round byes)

'likely heisman deciding game' because it goes to whatever mid qb's team has a better record and they've both loaded their schedule with cupcakes

And probably decides who will win the Heisman

Imo ACC championship is probably the most important bc if Duke wins it could cause/accelerate realignment. Idk how the entire ACC doesn’t explode like the Pac 12 did if that happens. Big 12 title game decides whether BYU gets in, SEC title game could decide whether Bama gets in.

I literally did, the 1 seed doesn’t matter as much as someone getting in or not

Yeah you’re absolutely tweaking if you genuinely believe the Big 12 title game is as important as the BIG10 game. This is the first time the 1 seed and 2 seed see each other in a conference championship game since 2009 pretty sure, definitely is going to decide the Heisman race and both are undefeated.

Besides I was just finally excited that it wasn’t gonna be in Atlanta again

I’m not denying that it’s an interesting matchup, it just feels kind of like an exhibition game compared to the others where they’re playing for a playoff spot (or in the ACC’s case possibly the continued existence of the conference)

I mean I guess but than we’re just arguing that literally nothing else matters narratively apart from the playoffs. I can credit that the SEC game is probably pretty important in deciding what the playoff will end up looking like but like cmon this BIG10 game in particular is both historic and also impactful on one of the biggest awards in college football and it’s a pretty big coaching duel as well (Day vs Cignetti) hopefully spelled the name right
