Cig won’t leave. A coach, when he leaves, is going for either a bigger salary or better program resources. He’s getting paid out the ass at IU, and clearly he doesn’t need any more resources if he’s already #1. This is his final destination.

It’s not like leaving JMU. Indiana clearly has the ability to be an elite team, so there’s very little left to desire in terms of resources

Michigan fans are just desperate for a coach dude they’ll make a bad one or two year hire and get a decent coach after that but there’s no available coaches, no sane coach is leaving this late in the cycle

You’re the correct that he won’t leave but you’re incorrect about why. All coaches get paid out the ass and still leave for more money, so that’s wrong. And just because he doesn’t “need” more resources doesn’t mean he doesn’t desire them, so that’s wrong as well. The real reason he won’t leave is that he’s old. He doesn’t have much time before he’ll want to retire, so becoming the GOAT coach at IU is better than being the 3rd best coach at Florida or the 5th best coach at Bama.
