I agree the reffing was bad but the specific play they are referring to is an instance of a WR checking with the ref and running a wide split. I’m a TN fan we do this every game and it has never once been called. It is not feigning a substitution.

Be pissed about it all you want but if this is a flag every team that runs a wide split offense should be penalized and it is NOT.

No lining your wide receiver on a far spit is not the problem the Oklahoma wr pretends to walk off the field then lines up purposely trying to confuse auburn’s defense Tennessee does not do this please stop talking

You missed my point completely there should be no difference. Man was slow walking out there. With zero clear intent to get to the sideline he looked exactly like a player who intends to line up and run a route

But there is a difference. And UT absolutely does not do what OU does. Quit trying to justify poor sportsmanship.

It’s not poor sportsmanship ou just probably didn’t know the rules, it the officials job to do that. They were just trying to put themselves in the best position to win

That is not poor sportsmanship. The WR made no attempt to even try and leave the field, walked over to his spot to line up and lined up. It’s not OU’s fault Hugh freeze is stupid and can’t coach. Every defensive coordinator except there’s would have left a defender over there.

Brother the man walked exactly to where he was gonna line up. If you fall for that then you have no idea how subbing works. My coaches made us SPRINT off the field. Anyone light jogging or walking is NOT coming off the field.
