There’s something about the NFL that is so much more hollow than CFB. Can’t put my finger on what it is but I cannot take any of the rivalries or debates or storylines seriously

This is how I feel about the NBA but the NFL has a longer history. It is the most corporate league tho

I think it boils down to the fact that CFB has a way longer history and does a way better job of promoting and heightening rivalries not only that for most of its history before super conferences CFB conference had better regional/geographic alignment like the NFL had two teams in Missori, has two in Pennsylvania, three in New York and 3 to 4 in California(before the Raiders left and Rams LA move) yet they’re all in different conferences and play each other every four years
