no teams will schedule big time non conference games if the committee adopts this mindset. Why schedule ohio state in the preseason if you’re entire season ends if you loose.

usc is probably gonna cancel the notre dame game for the exact reason. why even schedule tough games if 3 losses is a playoff disqualify you? just schedule cupcakes loose 2 games conference games and your guaranteed in. there has to be more nuance than 3 losses and ur out

Argue with yourself. I’m just repeating what was stated over and over and over last year when Bama missed the cut. 🤷‍♀️ And honestly, with the number of teams with fewer losses I agree.
