Oh fuck off with the “if Texas doesn’t get in then teams will just schedule powder puffs” just beat Florida and you’re in. Same shit with Alabama last time stop throwing a bitch fit every time the sec cannibalizes itself.

Literally they were still ranked after losing to OSU 😭 and they had a pretty cupcake schedule as far as SEC schedules go

Florida’s either going 3-9 or 4-8 and got beaten by USF, if you lose to them you don’t deserve to be in the playoff lmfao

THIS! Quality losses can be respected so if all 3 losses were to good teams, a 9-3 Texas **could** have a potential of being in. With the Florida loss, it’s not happening.

Or just win against OSU, like what? Beat teams that are on your schedule.

If Texas had played the OU schedule they’d have two losses too. OU, who LOST to Texas will be in the playoff, and Texas won’t. So yeah. The message is schedule cupcakes for your OOC games.

Or beat Georgia instead of getting blown out by them.

True, they gave up more points against Georgia than Austin Peay did

That was genuinely the weirdest game I’ve ever watched as a Georgia fan

Also this is coming from a texas fan. We didn’t perform when we needed to, there are consequences for that

Acting like a win over Michigan is guaranteed when you lost to 3 win Florida is wild. Oklahoma hasn’t lost to any 3 win team. You are trying to scapegoat osu for the fact that you can’t explain why a loss to Florida shouldn’t matter. All you’re doing is being soft af rn. Michigan is a top 15 team and if Oklahoma lost to them they’d still be out but have a better chance of making it because losses to 3 ranked quality teams are better than having a loss to a 3 win team that fired the hc.

End of the day this is not about ooc the osu game has never hurt you. It has always been the Florida loss. Stop the scapegoating and the crying it’s soft af man.
