Honestly I’d rather have that than this. Yes the rankings were bad but not bad enough to snub a team out of the top 12. Im tired of this committee made up of athletic directors. Im not saying Miami shouldn’t have made it, but they only moved because Duke won the ACC championship and they needed to have a ACC team. I’d be fine with something similar to the BCS but tweaked

I don’t blame u like undefeated teams were constantly snubbed because the computer had bias and it did not value head to head at all

The bcs was arguably just as bad 2004 auburn ring a bell 2003 co champions usc and lsu 2000 Miami 2011 Oklahoma state I can go on and on

I also think that’s because it was a 2 team playoff. No matter how you decide a 2 team playoff it’s never going to be 100% right. I’m just saying an actual mathematical formula or computer ranking would be better than having a bunch of athletic directors decide who gets in. Their decision of who gets in directly affects their own programs so it’s a major conflict of interest

Yeah no matter what someone’s unhappy. Only sport constantly complaining about the playoff used
