Game prediction for Virginia at Louisville on Saturday? Will Louisville prove that they are a T25 worthy team or will they fall to a 24 ranked Virginia team at home?

I don’t know about Louisville but obv I want UVA to look good bc that reflects well on my team. Louisville is much better coached (which decided the Pitt game) but if the Hoos get hot they’ll be hard to stop

I think Louisville has this one. They got a chip on their shoulder, and will come out swinging.

As a UVA fan it’s really hard for me to tell. I think we’ll be really inconsistent with a high ceiling and low floor this year, while Louisville will probably be the opposite. We absolutely have the talent to win this game but could just as easily turn the ball over 4 times and lose by 20.

I’m not discounting UVA by any means, but it will be telling if that FSU win was a “fluke” or they’re legit.

The last time UVA made the ACC Championship game in 2019, they lost 62-17 to Clemson as a 30 point underdog ‼️

I tend to agree that UVA’s win against Florida State was a bit of a fluke. However, I thought Florida State was a bit of a fraud all along

I think it’s all of it honestly. I think both teams are decent, but not elite. FSU and UVA may well finish 7-5 or 8-4. We shall see though, this is what makes college football such a great sport

It might well be another shootout type of game. UVA has a gamer at QB, but has no sense of defense. They’re not really stopping anybody.

I think the real X factor here for us may be Louisville’s run game. From what I understand they had like 3rd and 4th string RBs last week against Pitt and their ground game looked horrible. If that continues we may be able to sell out against the pass and look slightly less trash on defense

Tl;dr I think it’s more likely Louisville wins than we do, but 2 weeks ago I said “it would be huge if we could go 1-1 against FSU and Louisville” so I prob won’t be too upset even if we lose

The problem is UVA’s atrocious defense. Louisville might just run it down their throat

The problem with that is our (Louisville’s) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd string running backs are all injured. 3rd string didn’t touch the field at all last week. Our 1st and 2nd stringers (Isaac Brown and Duke Watson) both have lower leg injuries, but have played some in the past couple games

Oh absolutely, if we win it’s gonna be like 42-35 or something
