This isn’t commentary on that though. This is me saying that committing yourself to a team and fanbase and then jumping into the portal 4 days later, literally at the same time the rest of your team is at a funeral for your former teammate, is a shitty thing to do.

Doing it during the celebration of life you are SUPPOSED to be at is fucking diabolical. I don’t know why media outlets won’t cover that aspect. Transferring is one thing, and for money is another. To disrespect the entire UDub community and souring Mia’s memory like that is fucking despicable. Him and his agent should be ashamed

If LSU or whoever contacted him after he signed that would make some sense. The real question is what his financial obligations are, because that’s unknown I think and that should probably be FOIA asap

Oh, btw, his agent had no clue he was doing it. Bc a guy named Cordell Landers (who spearheaded the Nico fiasco last year) went behind Demond’s agent’s back to convince him to enter the portal. So the agent literally learned about it the way we did, and dropped Demond as a result.
