I don’t understand why a lot of CFB fans only want to see the same blue chip schools succeed. I think it’s more fun to see historically bad schools like Indiana or Virginia do good than seeing Bama or Ohio State winning it all yet again

I mean the teams that are historically good naturally have larger fanbases because they did a lot of winning. So just on numbers there’s gonna be a lot of fans of the “blue blood” teams who don’t want their program to become less relevant

Nah I’m talking about the fans that were legitimately salty abt Indiana winning cause “their fans are too fair weather and didn’t pack the stadium when they were bad” after making fun of them for being the losingest program in CFB two years before. It’s not about people just supporting their team, a lot of CFB fans don’t like seeing underdogs succeed even if their team didn’t play them.

Ty! As an Indiana fan, we are all still totally shocked and grateful for Coach Cig. Not that there weren’t decent coaches or teams in the past, but we just never expected anything like this, so when we realized we had smth to cheer for again (after a mid men’s basketball experience for a long while), I mean… it’s still so surreal and amazing! 🙏 🏈
