What’s stopping the NCAA from just preventing Tech from playing at all? Like just don’t give them a recognized schedule and just giving every team on Tech’s schedule the win

Texas Tech would sue on most likely antitrust grounds and quickly be awarded an injunction by the court which would allow them to keep playing while the suit drags out for months and months, costing the NCAA and Tech an absurd amount of money

See the recent NASCAR antitrust lawsuit, i assume any world where the NCAA barred Tech from playing would go down a very similar path
