It’s fun to joke about, but this Kiffin situation at Ole Miss is ridiculous Elko leaving Duke was nowhere near this messy and toxic

I feel bad, if it was before NIL I almost would’ve sworn that he would’ve stayed at Ole Miss to create a well deserved and honestly earned dynasty for the entire state of Mississippi. Yet due to NIL and football money Mississippi tried their best because they could see the easily viewable future yet just weren’t able to meet the alumni fund of LSU due to their previous football experience.

I mean, I would’ve sworn he would’ve stayed just bc the “Oxford saved me” stuff Ppl normally don’t gush like that if they aren’t loyal

What just happened between Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin should be the true main worry for programs in the modern era in my opinion, a legacy coach you scouted and helped grow leaving because you just couldn’t compete. Paying a young (relative to coaches,) 5 star coach is probably the hardest thing to do in any sport including pro and amateur when theirs a titan above you. Almost every Ole Miss fan wanted and wished for him to stay, and as a Buckeye I can’t even fathom to imagine what it must feel

like to lose your head coach and thus TRUE HEAD PLAYCALLER, due to all the rust belt money going to our one program to keep the midwest in the entire countries mind, because if it wasn’t for sports than the midwest would’ve been forgotten like whatever the region that includes Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota was by business’s and sponsors.

Yeah, that’s probably the main reason why OSU’s been the most successful of the big ten and midwest in the modern era. Ohio has the biggest population in the midwest (Pennsylvania barely beats us for the conference,) but it has the tenth biggest city in the country, and without the chicago maroons the biggest city in the entire conference.
