No it wouldn’t. Notre Dame hasn’t and won’t join the Big 10 because they are unwilling to accept an equal revenue split with all conference members. The Big 10 has 0 interest for non-football members for most of it’s mainline sports which is why Notre Dame scurried off to the ACC with it’s tail between it’s legs after the Big East collapsed
1) They are in the ACC without an equal revenue spilt, they could do a similar deal with the BIG10. 2) I’m only talking about football but Notre dame is already in the big ten in some sports, u should know this. 3) yeah after today they are 100% not joining the ACC ever they would completely lose the fanbase.
1: They theoretically could, and I imagine that’s who they went too as well after the Big East collapsez The Big 10 seems largely uninterested in having them in all sports besides football, so they would have to concede for that. The ACC is better for non football sports so that was a good move in hindsight 2: Ice Hockey is kind of a unique situation because its not sponsored by the ACC. I wouldn’t read to deeply into that, if anything it suggests ND and the B10 are cordial at best
