That’s how it should be though. You should hate your conference rivals, not root for them to make your conference look better. The only people that claim their conference is the best is cause their coping cause their team sucks

I think it’s the low iq fans of sec schools that have no relation to the school, except they MAYBE live in the same state as the school. Bandwagon fans of sec schools are the ones that give us all a bad look. Happy to see the real fans aren’t that dumb though

Yeah I’m a UTK student and I would die before I ever even considered rooting for Alabama let alone most sec teams only team I could maybe root for in the playoffs is like mizzou maybe or maybe miss state

Yeah I mean it’s completely valid to root for sec teams that aren’t your rivals, but solely rooting for them cause they are sec is corny as hell. Glad we’re on the same page - a UGA student

Completely agree! My grandparents root for SEC because they are in the SEC. Don’t agree, if you’re a conference rival, I ain’t rooting for you! - a Florida fan
