That’s what I was thinking as well, originally was thinking Notre Dame since they’re the “outsiders” but can’t give Notre Dame that respect of the “sleeping giant”.

Because OSU is a powerful school that is widely considered the most hated of any in CFB, regardless of affiliation. Also their fans. There is nothing more satisfying than watching OSU lose. Also their leader is known for his facial hair.
