As a UVA fan I will say that Tony Elliott is not as good of a coach as this year is making him look, but he is a really likable guy and that’s pretty valuable in the NIL era. Tbf I haven’t followed Clemson that closely to know how good he was as a coordinator / how good their coordinators are now

Also as a neutral party Clemson got completely hosed by that DPI call against Duke, should be 4-4 rn imo (which is still well below their standard but better than 3-5)

he was co-oc/oc for all their championships. i definitely see how he can be overrated though a lot of close games.

It’s not just the close games, some of them were horrendous (Wazzu and UNC) but imo the Louisville and Cal games were better than the scoreboard looked. My main concern is that he’s supposed to be mainly an offensive thinker, but Rudzinski’s defense has been carrying us HARD since the FSU game
