not to get political but these fucking politician creatures like the Texas attorney general and Louisiana gov are ruining football. Ken Paxton is the same guy in tx who let a pedo that raped a 3rd grader walk free and not even register as an offender
Texas AG Ken Paxton sent a formal letter to the Big 12 saying the state of Texas will threaten legal action if Texas Tech is sanctioned for letting Sorsby play.

Lol my state’s (VA) now-former Attorney General threatened legal action on behalf of JMU football…twice: - 2023: threatened legal action if JMU missed a bowl - 2025: threatened legal action if JMU missed the playoffs (seemed more light-hearted but I definitely think he was serious)

Paxton loves the child rapists, he hates when grown men face consequences they know are coming

I’m sure Louisianans are lovely people but their state is beyond corrupt to the point it’s almost ridiculous. I mean if you actually look at their state history it’s literally full of corrupt politicians. Also, they LARP as French people, which is unforgivable.

The big 12 isn’t party to the case and thus in theory not subject to the ruling

Fair enough. I’ve just had enough experience with CIA case officers to know you can’t trust them. I used to work with some when I interned with the gov. Anyway let’s agree to disagree

That’s understandable, and it’s cool you got to intern!

It was an amazing experience. I didn’t work at CIA but I got to visit the headquarters. It was a really interesting experience. I have a lot of respect for what their case officers do but it takes a certain kind of person to do that kind of work and it’s a field that does not bring out the best in someone.
