This would put Tennessee or Auburn in a playoff spot and the rest of the SEC fans would be advocating Georgia and Bama

No they wouldn’t. If you wanna get in, win your games, plain and simple. If you don’t, you’ve gotta deal with the tiebreaker rules. The only way anyone would be advocating for any other teams to get in would be if there was foul play (ie extremely bad officiating) that prevented a team from having a fair shot
