Hate it all you want, but it’s better they get in than JMU or Tulane. I personally believe there should be zero auto bids and the top 12 get in. Straight seeding would do wonders for the 12 team playoff

I like how auto bids are now, where they're for the top ranked conference champions so fluke duke doesn't get in over the sun belt titan jmu, but it does seem to leave out a lot of strong teams. The SEC and Big 10 were both pushing for another playoff expansion this year that would help fix that, it'd also help your cause since conference champions are almost guaranteed in the top 16 or 24.

Would take a thousand Tulanes over Notre Dame after the crash out of the century by their entire organization and fanbase. Why are we rewarding bad behavior?
