He’s doing it during the season when his team is about to make a playoff run and he’s not really moving up since he’s leaving one hc position at an sec school for another hc position at an sec school. That’s not really moving up.

Also he made a massive deal about Quinshon Judkins transferring and made this whole thing about lack of loyalty now he’s doing the same thing during a much more dire part of the season.

From my understanding though Ole Miss was giving him the ultimatums, giving him the deadlines. Looked like he wanted to finish the season at ole Miss. Lsu has many more resources he wouldn’t have in Oxford Lsu is a step up

this ^^, kiffin wanted to stay with ole miss through the playoffs, but their athletic director said no even though the players wanted kiffin to coach them through the playoffs

That is exactly what I had gathered. I think it is mainly just Ole Miss fans wanting to be upset at something so they are choosing Lane even though he tried to make the move as best he could

He’s the one stabbing them in the back now putting them in a whole media circus. He’s the one who did his whole weepy “I needed Oxford, a lot more than Oxford needed me” just to go around and leave them like this when they’re on the verge of the playoffs. Believe it or not fans don’t owe anyone on a team a god damn thing especially not one who’s doing to them what he already did to Tennessee. Again if you’re gonna sit here and say that only Ole Miss fans are upset then this whole community
