That scares the players enough cause the nfl won’t like it. It’s simple especially with gambling which is no different than the vape companies launching ads at 16 year old kids. You have to get federal legislation to basically break college sports and rebuild them as an employee to employer relationship.
The point is they can get away with it, and if I’m being honest I’m not convinced the nfl does not overlook some of the things these guys get away with, odds are it gets swept under the rug most the time. Just look a Jalen Carter, got arrested and still drafted 9th overall.
I agree with that, but I’m thinking about the overall scope of cfb. If any one player is taking PEDs that is still cheating, even if it’s some depth player who’s sat for multiple years and has little nfl hope. Sorsby may have not been playing but he had an advantage in betting with insider trading comparably.
Oh I completely agree. As I’ve stated before I love the chaos it creates because it shows that the only solution is government oversight and congressional action. The ncaa must be killed and power must be granted to one individual as a commissioner with an anti trust exemption. Sorsby still shouldn’t even allowed to practice or play until his suspension is up but it should be the big 12 making that decision.
