NIL ruined college football. You’ll never see a power 5 team like JMU make it past the first round now. Over the next 10 years the same 20 teams will make the playoffs and it won’t change unless they even out how much money a school can spend on players.
they should honestly restrict how many times you can transfer and limit you to 4 years of playing on a team

Not true. Alabama, Clemson, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Oregon, FSU were always around. You didn’t see JMU, ASU, Boise, Tulane, Texas Tech or how about this one INDIANA

I agree with that and to be honest, they need to cap the NIL amount of money that you can get and deals and cap the amount of time you can transfer in the transfer portal for college football

meanwhile ole miss, indiana, and oregon are all in the top four and none of them have ever won

I feel like it should be a max of 2 transfers, restricting players from constantly changing in the portal every year and makes them more direct on where they truly want to go for sports

maximum 1 transfer, and only 4 years in an athletic program unless you have permission in the NCAA for an extension (you missed an entire season)
