That’s what I believe. If we did it by most talented teams (assuming it’s based of talent composites) it’d pretty much be the same thing every year. That’s just not fun. The regular season HAS to matter. UT shouldn’t be in. They lost to 4-8 UF and went to OT with MSST. Anyone who loses to a 4-8 team shouldn’t be in unless the majority of their wins are impressive ranked wins (which isn’t the case here)

It’s ABSURD we’re having this discussion in the first place bc BYU deserves to be in regardless of whether they win or lose the BIG12. They’ve been impressive all year and have a better resume than most other teams vying for those last spots

i mean to be fair to them, they do have the most top 10 wins so your point on “unless they” doesn’t work here. like bama lost to FSU who lost to florida this past weekend so. not saying texas should be in but your reasoning isn’t lining up to me
