there should be no G5 autobid, G5 would’ve made so many playoffs over the last 25 years if we had the 12 team playoff with no autobids

JMU could’ve had an undefeated season and still would’ve been left out🤣 the moment we make it about rankings, they’ll ensure the G5 even gets up to the 13th spot but never the 12th. We both know it’s true.

back in the day maybe, not nowadays, 2017 UCF changed everything, if they’re already giving them an autobid who’s to say they would be biased against them not getting the 12th spot, JMU also had the 120th strongest schedule, gotta schedule bigger name teams like USF did

I don’t disagree there, but JMU tries to schedule more p4 schools every year. VT is namely one of the p4 schools that we schedule every single year and they back out and push the game. We’ve been lucky to have UVA and Louisville even on our schedule. I agree we have to schedule harder schools, but p4 shouldn’t be scared of playing us until they’re a powerhouse. Until then we have to keep it at conference play🤷🏻‍♂️
