I can almost guarantee that everyone on here saying “g5 sucks”, “g5 shouldn’t be in the playoffs”, and “g5 should do their own playoffs/natty” has no problem with their own program taking g5 players in the portal. You can’t have it both ways

Yes you can, just because a g5 team has a handful of guys that can play p4 doesnt mean the teams are comparable at all

One of the things that’s been repeated throughout the first round is that neither Tulane or JMU have 4 or 5 stars. Either bend the knee to your espn overlords or grow some brain cells

Grow some braincells? You see the games today? Both G5s had no business in these games. They need to get rid of autobids for conference champs. Sometimes G5s will be good enough to get in but guaranteeing them a spot is dumb

JMU played the most interesting 1st round game, proved to be Oregon’s best game of the year thus far, and played better than Miami, TAMU, and OU. They played like a team who deserved a guaranteed spot

They were down 34-6 at half time, you think they played better then Miami (who won a game) or a&m and ou who lost competitive games? Jmu got some garbage time points but you have to be delusional to think they played better then anyone other than tulane so far in the playoff

“Garbage time points” when they a) put up 500+ yards on them b) was statistically the best offense the Oregon defense has seen this year and c) did so despite a massive talent gap
