Yeah I agree. Miami is definitely valid but Alabama is absolutely not. ND would have put up a better fight against Indiana.

ND fans were never upset about Miami bc obviously Miami won the head to head. It was the fact that Bama was the ONLY conference championship loss team that did not drop.

Alabama had 4 ranked wins in the season, one of which was vs the number 5 team at the time. They absolutely deserved the spot

A loss in playoffs. You seriously cannot be using a blowout in playoffs weeks AFTER the committee made their playoff decisions. They make the decision based on what is available at the time you are just being ignorant

Teams that get blown out in the playoffs do not deserve to be in the top 12. That’s why 90% of us hate to see G5 teams make it.

you should’ve mentioned the inconsistent play by bama, winning dominantly to good teams but also losing badly to bad teams. Notre Dame has more consistency in their performance so that’s something that you could leverage tbh

my friend, there is a factor that you are disregarding in your argument. hindsight bias. do you think the committee has a magic orb that can see the future? no, so you can’t use what happened in the playoffs to say that the committee was wrong to pick alabama. because they wouldn’t have known. you can say that they didn’t deserve to make it, but to say that the committee was wrong based on information they couldn’t have yet is just straight up foolish.
