Then it’d still be two teams playing in a random stadium (and most likely a much shittier random stadium than where the cfp is played). The cfp champion has made the natty the following year only twice

Conference championships should all be held at the field of the competing team with the higher conference record, I'm tired of the SEC tournament being a Georgia home game every year

Think it ultimately comes down to weather at the time of year and of course money. I am sure there is a large contract thing the sec championship to Mercedes-Benz stadium. Still a cool idea though
