in recent history is crazy to see guys like nix and cam ward play amazing and come 3rd and 5th in the rankings, then diego pavia who doesn’t come close to either comes up second and mad he didn’t win it

It’s definitely a mix of both, this is absolutely a down year for the Heisman race but we are also coming off 2 insane years. There have been 5 players in the previous 2 seasons that would’ve been runaway Heisman favorites in most years. Ashton Jeanty, Travis Hunter, Nix, Daniels, and Penix (who also finished ahead of nix in voting and out duel him head to head twice that year, stacked qb class)
