high-jacking football to talk law, we define DV over here as assault or assault & battery + a “domestic relationship.” it’s pretty broad but includes shit like having lived together, have a kid together, dating, etc etc. potentially relevant cuz if they find evidence to charge assault or A&B, they could enter that charge as an upgraded DV offense. guess we’ll see
