ND? You must clearly be talking about North Dakota because they’re the only people with those initials who’d actually be able to carry their heads high after this season…

Kinda crazy when were the last team to beat them. 10 game win streak, top 5 qb, best defensive player, easy schedule, elite coach, don’t have to deal with USC’s bs anymore… yeah we on top 🥱

Admitting you don’t know ball? In the past 2 years they are 21-3 excluding ND games. In that time they are also undefeated vs power 5 opponents.

Claiming G5 wins like this is crazy. Their power 5 opponents were Cincinnati and one of the worst Oklahoma teams of the past 20 years in random bowl games.

Yo you wont see a playoff team bragging about their win over a school like Navy, unless they themselves are a G5 time

Navy (10-3) was also good win for ND last year, we also beat Indiana, Penn State, and SEC champs in the playoffs that year… also read up on the history of ND vs Navy, they always play ND tough and I’ll always have respect for them.

You have to be trolling out here claiming a 5 loss G5 win as one of your best. You listed USC, Navy, and Boise State as top wins when pressed. Somebody better get a straight jacket for bro

Yall don’t play low level fcs schools like SEC teams do because yall won’t join a fucking conference. If yall would stop dickriding that NBC TV deal and join a conference, you wouldn’t have to play Navy, Boise state and low level ACC teams every year, because you would play the other people in your conference. SEC teams play low fcs schools cuz in conference play is hard enough. It’s insane you don’t know this

He said “They aren’t even conference champions” and you said “yeah but Boise is” making it seem like you were proud of that win. I get what you mean now by making a point that winning a conference championship doesnt instantly make a team great, like Boise, but after his comment, you look proud of that Boise State win, and I think anyone would read it that way

1) we would still play Navy every year (learn what a rivalry is buddy). 2) “low level” ACC teams have been the most impressive this bowl season. 3) if the sec is so hard how did we beat the sec champs in the playoffs last year. 4) most teams would kill for the NBC deal, there is a reason no other school is independent, not our fault we’re more relevant and can sustain ourselves and don’t have to rely on other schools for money.

Why are we bringing up stuff from last year? We’re talking about the 2025 Notre Dame team. Y’all got one good win against USC and a couple that were meh like Navy. That’s fine, just take it as a down year and move on like EVERY OTHER TEAM.

This is why nobody like ur team and the Notre dame fanbase, you shit on other conferences, while actively saying no other school is worthy of being independent or having a TV deal. You see it some praise towards notre dame that is supposed to look good, but I think every other cfb fan sees Notre Dame as a team who literally rides the fact that they’re traditional or whatever, while also using that and the tv deal as a way to not join a conference.

Anonymous replying to -> #1 5w

Yeah… and? 😂 we know we better cause we don’t need a conference. If any other team had the balls to go independent and could actually sustain themselves I’d have nothing but respect. Big 10/SEC is gonna ruin cfb with super conferences but yeah your right we are the problem for not selling out to espn 👍

What a dumbass argument bruh. If UGA or OSU or any other Big Ten or SEC school went independent next year, they would wipe just like ND does. There is NOT some football divine god or someone making ND more worthy then other teams, therefore granting them independence from the shackles of the ACC conferences. Your team shows year in and year out that they’re a bunch of pussies who can’t take losing a game.

Then if it’s such an advantage why haven’t any of those teams done it? Texas kinda tried with the longhorn network and it failed. Truth is no other program could get a TV deal like we got. Also they’re all scared cause we don’t get paid unless we actually win playoff games, we don’t take those conference handouts 😂

upvote -1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

Yall aren’t better than any other school because ur independent, ur just able to afford if because you have a century old brand that attracts NBC. Teams in conferences such as the Big Ten and the SEC aren’t leaving for independence because those conference run college football and generates a ton of revenue for those schools. So Notre Dame might have NBC which is all fancy and great for them, but being in a conference and playing good competition is really all cfb fans care about.

upvote 5 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

Also longhorn network failed because they couldn’t reach a wide audience, as it literally only showed Texas Longhorn related stuff as opposed to NBC which is literally the biggest channel in United States and shows a lot more than ND obviously. So don’t even try to act like that’s some win over Texas or the SEC.

It kinda is, y’all need 15+ teams to get a tv deal. You think Georgia or Ohio state could sign a deal with espn on their own? 😂 we are the only team not reliant on others and y’all hate it 😂

Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

Alright let me explain to u how this works. Georgia for example, is in the SEC, which already has a TV deal ESPN so they don’t gotta worry about that. ND, is NOT in a conference, so they are on their own in that department, and they got NBC. Same goes for other independent schools like UCONN who has a deal with CBS. It’s not a conference vs Notre Dame vs UConn thing in whatever competition you think this is. Not sure where you get ur stuff from man
