Yeah 2019 LSU would beat Indiana by 17 yall let’s be real. That was a whole ass Pro Bowl team in college and idk if we’ll ever see that again

game would be a defensive slugfest you have no idea if that lsu team would even win, their whole team may have gone to the draft but they almost lost 5 games that season, indiana almost lost 1

LSU played much tougher opponents

and their defense nearly sold them every game lmao, they had a 4 game stretch where their defense was allowing 42 points a game

some people don’t realize how similar these teams are, indiana is way more well rounded than LSU, it would be a closer game then anyone would think

I think if you said this hypothetical in like 6 years or so, everyone would easily pick 2019 LSU over IU. I have no doubt IU is one of the best teams ever, but I think recency bias is playing a HUUGE role in this debate. I will say Indiana definitely has the better coach tho for sure

i don’t even think recency bias can even play a role in this, we’re talking about a team on paper should maybe go 7-5 destroying everything in their path, with by far the best defense in cfb, a defense compatible to 2001 miami, an offense that can score 63 with ease if they felt like it and a running game comparable to 97 nebraska. they can switch up the playstyle and win any close game down the stretch. by far the most dominant and scary team i’ve ever seen.

Well you must not have been alive in 2019 then 😭😭. 2019 LSU by 17, give me all the stats and comparisons you got, but if it comes down to an actual game, that team is NOT losing and I think that’s clear if you watch almost any of their games

i don’t care how many guys are making it to the nfl on that team, their defense wouldn’t even be able to take indiana off the field

60% 3rd down conversion rate is unheard of, compared to LSU’s 50%

Indiana just had a slugfest against a two loss miami team. LSU put BTA against one of the most dominant Clemson teams ever, dominated a prime SEC, beat alabama with tua before he was handicapped with old saint nick, and fried ok putting up 63💀
