Why do snow plows even do this? I know the roads need to be clear but it could be weeks before that person can use their car. Shouldn’t the city ban street parking or tow before a snowstorm to prevent this?

I live in a town that gets 200+ inches of snow a year and they ban street parking high key if you park on the street and get plowed in it’s your own dang fault

I mean technically it’s common sense not to part in the street when there’s gonna be a big snow storm, my towns PD and FD will post in our communities page on FB to remind us to move our cars into our driveways so plow trucks can efficiently remove the snow from the roads.
