Tbf it was either get rid of that game or get rid of the Tennessee game, so you could kind of see it coming. I’m more upset that the they got of lsu-Florida too, bc given that they didn’t play bama I would expect the sec to at least keep that matchup. Florida isn’t even playing Tennessee annually anyway so it’s not like their schedule would be too hard

Why not get rid of the Miss State game? It’s the most lopsided rivalry in college football.

I didn’t even realize it’s a rivalry, but it would be unfair to make bama play auburn, Tennessee, and lsu each year, since each program is traditionally in the top half of the conference. No matter how good bama is they still should have a balanced schedule

Yeah that’s fair. Still sad to see it go. I’d really rather lose Tennessee since LSU gives us so many more classics but that’s not going to happen.

I mean they could have if they wanted, but that rivalry is too historic. And what do you mean the “3” teams they sing about? They sing Dixieland Delight once and their fight song like 10 times, even if they don’t know all the words.
