The people who are saying “JMU only did well when the back ups came in” are also the same ppl who said the talent gap was so big between Oregon and JMU that JMU’s starters would still struggle against Oregon’s back ups.

Oregon’s backups are mostly 3 and 4 stars that would start at alot of FCS schools

I DO think at least part of this is owed to the human nature “we’re up, why bother” that coaches can’t really do anything about, but good showing by Oregon

remember the players on the field usually aren’t sickos (or God forbid gamblers) like a lot of us, at some point they’ll go on cruise control up multiple scores later on in the game
