Since both camps lack brain cells: Texas is being punished for the loss to Florida Texas is being punished for the loss to Ohio State If you lose a game, you are punished. They have 3 losses, and therefore are ranked behind the 2 loss teams. Not hard

I personally think that they don’t even know what the criteria are though with other teams they have ranked. It’s like they say they want to put the best 12 teams right now in.

If you try to base college football ranking solely and completely on record your logic will be inconsistent. Too much discrepancy in competition. Why isn’t BYU ahead of all the 2 loss teams?
