Yeah but CFB is the only sport where people genuinely hate the underdog for some reason

Exactly it’s stupid. It’s just all fans of mid SEC teams that think because they have quality losses they deserve to get in. I do agree there shouldn’t be 2 G5 teams in tho. Needs to be a rule that you take the top G5 conference champion and they must have 1 or fewer losses. No 2 loss G5 team should get in imo

That’s exactly why JMU should be in and Tulane shouldn’t. JMU is the highest ranked 1 loss G5 team. The issue is though, that if you took out a G5 team, it would’ve been Duke in who would’ve gotten beaten even worse.

I actually think there should be 1 autobid which would be for the 1 loss G5 team. Which means it would’ve been ND that would’ve got in instead

That would mean JMU would get in as well as Notre Dame… That furthers my point that Tulane shouldn’t have been in. They never should’ve put Tulane ahead of JMU in the G5 spot and yesterday proves that. However, Notre Dame skipping the Pop Tart is classless. If BYU won that bowl game, their argument would’ve been completely over which is why they bailed.

To further the point, Tulane was not a one loss team, JMU was.

Yeah I agree JMU deserved to be ranked higher than Tulane
