no one cares about the glorified high schools they're not an arguing point for actual college football

Those “glorified high schools” make noise in the FBS. They manage to beat FBS teams and plenty transfer into FBS and do well quickly. App State beat Michigan as an FCS school and then won 4 Sun Belt championships. JMU was FCS in 2021 then made the CFP 4 years later. Coastal Carolina won 2 and made it to #12 in CFP one year. JSU and KSU both went from FCS to CUSA champ in one year.
