I don’t think it’s the southerners that are the problem. Both us and y’all go out on our porches to watch tornados. There’s a certain dude on a certain plane flying in last minute before the game which is when winds will likely be affecting the airspace, so that also has something to do with it if I had to guess

I think Air Force One is designed to fly through rougher conditions than most planes, but I bet they’ll try to avoid flying through the winds aloft if they can help it
