Then the argument would be Texas Tech vs. Oregon, Ole Miss, A&M, etc. It’s not like we didn’t have arguments when there was a 4 team playoff for 10 years

But Ohio state is still in and the SEC is tougher than the Big 12 and look who Texas Tech has played and blah blah blah. People always made a big shit about everything and no playoff format will change that. And imagine if we used this 4-team “win your conference” format last year. The playoff would’ve been Oregon, Georgia, Boise St., and ASU.
