Most CFP teams in that time and less National Championship appearances than a team literally not in a conference is diabolical. SEC is a 2 bid league, 3 max.

Fair enough Alabama should not have been in and OU was riding off that win over Michigan but Michigan did have a very easy big 10 schedule
