Cause nobody has the depth of the SEC? The Big Ten has a few great times then its loaded with mid. In the SEC you could play Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, A&M, South Carolins, and Kentucky in the same year. Oklahoma had the hardest schedule in all of college football last year, no big ten team has a difficult schedule because half of the big ten are cupcakes

Championships. Mid tier Big Ten schools won’t try to spend a crazy ton of money because they know it probably isn’t worth the investment. Meanwhile, the middle of the SEC like to spend it to still not compete with the top of the conference. The SEC is a better conference for the middle, but it still can’t beat the Big Ten’s top teams.
