even the 2024 ncaa women’s final had higher ratings than this game (mind you that was caitlin clark vs undefeated south carolina). this years women’s final had higher ratings than all but game 7 here. i think march madness is perfect for manufacturing hype, there’s something simple about win and advance, lose and go home
