I think OP just hates southerners and thinks everyone who just so happens to live in the south is a stupid, racist, trump voter

Yeah I don’t think ppl realize that’s rlly the minority here in most places… like for example I’m just stupid, not the other two things.

Everyone? No. The vast majority? Absolutely. Source: I’ve lived all across the South my entire life. And literally everything about it.

If that were the minority in most places in the south, we wouldn’t have a pedophile serving his second term in office.

Yeah people voted trump sure, the south typically votes republican because that’s how 2 party politics in the US works unfortunately (just like how the NE and west coast vote democrat) and even then support for trump in the south is dropping. And no most of us rlly arent racist, my source is that I’ve lived in the black belt my whole life.

In other words, you haven’t lived in rural white areas. Thanks for clearing that up. That explains why you are so fucking wrong.

I’ve lived in a society that’s around 50/50 white and black yes… although I do have family in more rural white areas of the south and they agree that while there are racists, most ppl are not.

I’ve lived in one of the reddest counties in my state and yes there are a lot of trump supporters, but there are also people who aren’t, and you can’t just say the entire south is stupid and racist like am I trying to get out of my hometown? yes because it sucks but there’s also a lot of correlation between areas that have a lot of republican voters and poor rural areas because of lack of education and pandering to those voters even if they’ll never help

some also think accepting help is weakness but that’s a whole different thing that’s more cultural

Yee exactly, like I’m tryna leave as well, but to go somewhere I can be more financially successful, not because I feel in danger because I’m in an interracial relationship… people really don’t care that I am at all.

yeah, I mean, I’m white so I can’t tell you how racist people really are and there’s definitely racist people but most aren’t from my experience (towards black people anyways, hispanics are a different story) we even had a black mayor for a while

We currently have a black mayor lmao. And yeah there’s racism, I’ve experienced some myself (homophobia as well… plenty of homophobia in the south) but most ppl are just chill and tryna live their lives yk

I have hope for newer generations, but damn I’m embarrassed by my fellow southerners sometimes cuz if it (white and black, homophobia is too common in both)

50/50 is not a rural white area, is it? Damn, your schools really do suck, huh?

That is utter bullshit bro. I was born and raised in a white rural community in the south outside a predominantly black metro area. These folks still wear Confederate flags on the clothes, use the n-word regularly, make fun of the LBGTQ, and are still flying their 2016 Trump flags. 😂 Don’t act like “most people” in the South are not racist Trump lovers. They are the majority.

I’ve lived in Mississippi or Tennessee my whole life. My mom’s family has been in Mississippi since the immigrated. The town I am from is named after my dad’s family. I am about as southern as you can possibly get. Racist redneck is the majority, not the minority. Stop trying to pretend it’s not. Like the OP said, if they weren’t a bunch of racist Trump lovers, DT wouldn’t have won the southern states 3 fucking times. You are fooling yourself little buddy.

😂😂 it’s not. You just refuse to see what’s right in front of your face. A white guy saying there’s not much racism in Alabama is fucking RICH!!!! 😂 Ask your black neighbors that question and I bet you get a very different response.

You assumed I’m white btw, and, wild thing, I do talk to people of all races, even wilder, they agree with me. I’m just so done arguing with brick walls and I wanna play cyberpunk. Sorry if my replies arent as in depth as you would like. Also insults don’t help your argument, they just make you seem less confident
