And the whole time they’re gonna act like it makes everything more competitive and creates more opportunities for the players and the small schools which is complete bullshit, all it does is give more revenue opportunities to the mediocre power schools that are gonna take all the extra spots. So there will be more disparity between the power conferences and everyone else, and everyone involved in this decision knew exactly what they were doing and they don’t give a shit because they got richer

Agreed. There is an NIT for a reason. Sports is a way for many fans to escape reality and seeing the NCAA make decisions for their own careers over the long term health of the industry is saddening.
