Not sure if chronic pain counts here. I’ve had TMJD since early childhood but it’s gotten so much worse the last few years. I literally wake up in the middle of the lift unable to move my jaw for more than 10 seconds the clenching is so bad.

Absolutely! It’s chronic. I have severe chronic migraines, and completely understand debilitating pain. Most people here have some sort of chronic pain. Welcome to our community! Sorry that you belong here, but hopefully this community helps you feel less alone and more understood.

I feel like I’m going fucking nuts. My face hurts all the time and I think my masseter (jaw muscles) are becoming overdeveloped and changing my face shape

I was recommended Botox for my tmjd (and the overdeveloped masseters bc of it) I haven’t done it yet but a lot of people get relief from it

Yeah I’ve heard that too. I don’t like invasive procedures but it might be time to reconsider :(
