No one else seems to understand but I passed all my classes this semester with D’s, C’s, and A’s. Despite all the pain I went through and being diagnosed with POTS, fibro, and hEDS in the span of 3 months I did it. I was close to giving up but didn’t.

That’s freaking awesome. I swear the chronically ill deserves a special diploma, our education experience is so much harder than an average student

Literally same, most of my friends are graduating early I’ll probably be graduating a year or two late. Finishing the semester without an incomplete is like such a big accomplishment for me so I get it.

for real! i am doing 5.5 years total. i’ve come to terms with it but i still get upset about it sometimes. i have to remind myself that most people don’t have to do things like go through a tilt table test and then take a physics exam the following day😭 we are soldiers fr

So so proud of you 🥹 no matter how many times people assure you they “understand what your going through” nobody can ever truly know the challenge of something like this. And to get through your semester, even when you were struggling, is so incredible. Enjoy your break now, you deserve it 🥹💕

I’m also a year and a half “behind.” I’ve had to withdraw from semesters and classes due to illness and it sucks. Took me awhile to accept it since my peers have already graduated but I realized it’s better to take longer than force myself into mental and physical burnout on top of my illness
